About Us

Brooke Howell has been working with horses for 18 years. She started "riding" her Shetland pony, Chip, through the hills of the Palouse ("riding" often meant tuck, roll, and walk home). Through high school Brooke showed competitively in a wide variety of disciplines at 4-H, local, and breed shows. After high school Brooke barrel raced for 2 years. After starting college, Brooke decided that she would follow her dream of having a career in the Equine Industry. She enrolled at the University of Idaho and graduated in 2005 with a degree in Agricultural Business/ Animal Science. Through college Brooke also enrolled and completed the Richard Shrake Apprentice program. In November 2003 Brooke was inducted into the American Quarter Horse Association of Professional Horseman. In 2005 Brooke won third in the 3 and 4 year old open division of the Reining Horse Association of the Northwest on her Quarter Horse mare Jewels R Assets. Then in 2006 "Jewel" and Brooke won first in the Junior horse open of the Reining Horse Association of the Northwest. Brooke is passionate about helping people and their horses and loves every minute of her "job"!
